Fikes Cemetery

Fikes Cemetery is 15 southwest of Brent, Alabama on State Highway 25. Go to the 74 mile marker and go into the woods South for about 1/2 mile. You can be within 10 feet of the cemetery and not see it. At one time this cemetery looked like it was a very nice, well to do cemetery. It was enclosed in a fence with corner post made of cement, but wire and post now decayed, so it is hard to tell what they were. There are about 6 graves in the cemetery, but only 2 with dates you can read. The others are on metal grave markers.
