Little Hope Primitive Baptist Church was constituted November 15, 1878. Original members were Wiley Deason, John C. Deason, Henry Owens, J. D. McElroy, W. E. Foley, H. J. Bracknell, J. T. Filgo, Louisa C. Deason, Nancy Deason, Elizer Smith, Matilda Owens, Nancy Yeager, Rebecca Smith, Caroline Patton, Manervy Holder. Elders were J. T. Allen, R. F. Ellis, and H. K. Powell. Pastors who have served the congregation: Elder J. T. Allen, Elder J. D. McElroy, Elder R. F. Hyde, Elder E. J. Joiner, Elder J. E. Yancey, Elder O. M. Streetman, Elder V. B. Boyd, Elder V. C.
