Know all men by these presents that I Josiah Red for and in consideration of the love and affection which I bear towards my beloved daughter Elizabeth Smith to her heirs and assigns the following personal property to wit: one bay mare two cows 2 yearlings one steer and eleven head of hogs and my improvements where I now live. To have and to hold to the said Elizabeth Smith her heirs and assigns forever.
In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 23rd day of September A.D. 1873.
