Willie Davis

Willis Davis was a dedicated Baptist from the first days of the County. he was among the group of organizers of the Cahawaba Association of Baptist Churches, and acted as clerk of the organizational session held at Cahawba Valley Church in October.1818. He represented Enon Church at the sessions of this association in 1819, 1821, 1822 and again years later. He was a successful farmer and slave holder.
