Born:  Shelby Co., Alabama, May 2, 1839. Married Nancy Frances Elizabeth Barnes June 12, 1859. Moved to Navarro County Texas in 1886. Died June 11, 1915 and buried at Spring Hill Cemetery, Navarro County Texas. Wife Nancy died June 11, 1928 and buried in Corsicana, Texas. Served in 20th AL, Co. D. (see military section).
