This is not a Bibb County regiment, but men from Bibb might have enlisted in this unit.

Muster roll Civil War May 5, 1862 Camp Goldwaite, Shelby Co., Alabama. Company F., 31st Alabama Infantry Regiment. 3rd Lt., James A. Cobb, Commander.

The 31st Alabama Infantry Regiment was organized at Talladega, 16 March 1862, with men from Calhoun, Cherokee, Montgomery, Randolph, Shelby, and Talladega counties.
