Pickett, James [Researcher's Note: Enlisted when he was 46 years old. From Pea Ridge, where his family settled around 1815. Pickett was captured at the battle of The Wilderness. He died at the Union Prison Camp at Elmira, New York on 2 September, 1864. His son, Brazile Pickett, also served in the Civil War.
