Oliver Fitts

Oliver Fitts enlisted on Nov. 11, 1861 at the age of 25 at Centerville, Al. He was single and a farmer from Randolph, Bibb County, Alabama. Was a member of Company F and was in engagements at Seven Pines, May 30-31, 1862, and Gains Mill where he was severely wounded June 27, 1862. He was absent from the unit at Frasier's Farm June 30, 1862. He died from the wounds he received at Gains Mill. Refer to Historical record roll signed Petersburg, VA. Dec 24, 1864.
